Kevin Wiegman and Mark Gale of the Oregon area approached Roger Cain with the idea of a Christmas tree near SILVER VIEW. They delivered a tree that was destined to be cut down, then succeeded in up righting that tree and putting it in place.
Roger Cain supplied ornaments and decorations. SILVER VIEW and the Oregon Depot Museum are so grateful for these gents to care so much and to bring the Christmas Holiday spirit. This is further evidence of how the people of Oregon, IL have welcomed and embraced the arrival of SILVER VIEW.
