The tour begins in New York, NY, and returns to New York, NY

Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA is the ultimate destination, with accommodations at the Red Lion Inn for two evenings

The rail portion of the trip will be along the Hudson River during the peak fall colors. Hopefully Nature will provide a display of autumn colors to enhance the trip.
Tour A ($2,800 per person double occupancy): Only 16 seats will be sold on the Hickory Creek, a premier restored private luxury vintage railcar. We expect this car to sell out quickly.
Tour B ($2,300 per person double occupancy): Once Tour A has enough confirmed reservations, then the New York Central Parlor Lounge #43, also a beautifully restored Parlor Lounge car, will be added. Only 14 seats will be offered on this second car.

Overview for both tours: Both cars will provide a comfortable relaxed ride in a restored vintage private rail car, including food and drink service while on board. The itinerary and accommodations are in the same hotels, and all other services are identical. Please review our Terms and Conditions.

Tour C - add on an Acela Train Trip and overnight in Washington DC
Tour C ($850 per person): Traveler may book the add-on Tour C that includes a Gray Line NYC tour, with lodging at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel in New York.

ITINERARY SUMMARY
BEFORE DAY 1: Traveler must arrive in New York City, NY to begin the Zephyr Route Tour.
Travelers MUST arrange air or rail travel and transfer on their own.

DAY 1: Sunday October 15th: Meet in Lobby of Hilton Double Tree at 6:30 pm for overnight stay
DAY 2: Monday October 16th: New York to Albany, NY to Stockbridge, MA with two nights stay at the Red Lion Inn
DAY 3: Tuesday October 17th: Full day and evening in Stockbridge
DAY 4: Wednesday October 18th: Stockbridge to Albany to New York - stay overnight in Hilton Double Tree
DAY 5: Thursday October 19th: Check out after included breakfast or optional Tour C
OPTIONAL TOUR C
DAY 1: Thursday October 19th: Afternoon Amtrak Acela Train Ride to Washington DC, overnight stay in DC Hilton Garden Inn.
